Training- We facilitate training to ensure families have the knowledge, skills, and tools to confidently advocate for themselves and demand a quality education. During our training process families become connected to our networks of family advocates, parent leaders, and communities that provide families the support they need during and after advocacy efforts.

  1. Organizing and Mobilizing Minnesota Parents United- Taking advocacy to the next level, we organize families to truly transform the education system through organizing and mobilizing collectively to change policies that perpetuates disparities.

Culturally Responsive Programming 

Families come from various races, cultures, ethnicities and religions. We recognize programming needs to be culturally responsive addressing specific cultural needs. We provide families opportunities to create and/or recommend cultural activities that would serve their families. Examples;

We use the 7 principles of the Voices For Racial Justice Impact Assessment to determine if the policies we support will have a great impact on marginalized communities therefore having a great impact on the wider community
